Teak chairs use a precise mortise and tenon joinery in their construction. This is a result of superior construction methods, which allows for solid durability when combined with the tough wood. Rather than fingerjointed sections, quality teak chairs are constructed with solid pieces of wood.

Quality teak chairs are made from solid Grade A teak wood obtained from renewable government plantations in Indonesia. The wood, which was first planted by Dutch Colonists about 200 years ago, is harvested in 20 year cycles. Afterwards, the wood is kiln dried, and the teak chairs are manufactured and inspected to certain specifications.

Why Teak Chairs?
Teak chairs look great when paired with teak tables or benched. They will add a stunning addition to your garden decor. In addition, you can purchase stylish cushions to add extra comfort to your chairs.

The actual teak is another reason to invest in teak chairs. Teak is an oily dense wood that is great for outdoor furniture for several reasons. Teak woods density of grain prevents it from splintering and is used in swimming platforms and rails. Teaks natural oils also resist rot and decay.
